Island Peak Climbing

Island Peak (6,189m/20,305ft), is lei in the Everest region also known as other local name as a Imja Tse earlier, but during 1952 the Eric Shipton has given the new name as Iseland peak. Island peak climbing gives you great an opportunity to see from the summit the excellent view of Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse (8,410m),Makalu (8475m) Baruntse peak, Ama Dablam,Thamserku and many other Mountains.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (1365m of elevation),
Arrival at Kathmandu airport we pick you up and take you to the Hotel in Kathmandu. After short refreshment brief about the programs, overnight at Hotel,

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu, prepare for trek
After breakfast we take to the Kathmandu valley sightseeing to Boudhanath stupa (one of the biggest stupa in the world), Pashupatinath temple (one of the most popular Hindu’s temple), soyambunath Temple and Patan Durbar squire. Overnight at Hotel,

Day 03: Early in the morning fly to Lukla/trek to Phakding, 2640m,40 minutes flight/ 3 hrs trek
Early in the morning transfer to kathmandu domestic airport and fly to Lukhla with magnificent mountain view over flying to noeth of Himalayan Region toward boarder of Tibet and trek start from Luklha to Phakding via Chaurikharka, Chhuplung and beautiful Ghat village. Overnight at Phakding Lodge.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3546m), 6hrs
After breakfast trek start through flowing the Bhote koshi river crossing several times suspension bridges to reach at Monju village.From Monju village the Sagarmatha National park begins so check your permit and walk to next beautiful village of Jorsalle. Take lunch at there and continue walk through the cross the next bridge and walk along the river side and reach next one of the high bridge suspension. After cross the high bridge all the way ascent to Namche bazar through e pine forest. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Acclimatization Namche Bazaar/visit Museum and excursion around Namche Bazar,
Today full day excursion around the Namche bazar, visit mountaineering museum, and Everest view Hotel at Syangbuche, Khumjung village one of the biggest and old Sherpa settlement in Khumbu region and back to Hotel.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3870m), 6hrs,
From Namche bazar trek start gradually flat trail with viewing quite deep valley and magnificent view of Thamserku, Everest, Lotche, Nuptche, Cholatche, Amamdablam and Tengbuche Monastery. Enjoying with wonderful view and trek until Fhungi Tenga and all the way ascent to Tengbuche Monastery. Tengbuche Monastery is one of the biggest and most popular Monsatry in Everest region. Overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4420m). 6-7hrs
Trek start short descent through rhododendrons forest to reach at small beautiful village of Dibhuche and This journey again rewards us with magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After Dibuche continue walk through the small forest and cross the Imja River with deep valley crossing the Mettle Bridge and ascent through beautiful Mani wall and stupa and reach Pangboche. From pangbuche village trek continue via somare to reach at Dingbuche. Overnight at Dingboche lodge.

Day 08: Acclimatization/Excursion day at Dingbuche
Full day acclimatization and exploration day around Dingbuche and visit Chhukung village two ward Island peak or climb to Chhukung ri and back to Dingbuche overnight.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Labuche (4910m),5hrs
Treks start gradually ascent to Thukla and ascent to the top where you can see many of world famous mountaineer memorial status whom they died on Everest and Pmori during their climbing. We walk through the some of rocky trail and crossing and flowing small stream to reach at Lobuche. Overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Trek from Labuche to Everest Base camp (5300m overnight in Gorackshep (5150m),8-9hrs,
Trek start all the way through some of rocky trail with gradually little up and down to reach at Gorakshep and we leave our luggage here and take a lunch. After lunch we continue heading to Everest Base Camp pass through rocky dunes, moraine and streams some of memorable statue before reaching the Everest Base Camp. During the spring time the Everest Base Camp, we see full of tents of mountaineers that stand out in bright and colorful view. After visit Everest base camp trek same way back to Gorakshep, Overnight in lodge.

Day 11: Early in the morning visit to Kalapather, 5545m, 3hrs, and trek back to Lobuche, 3hrs,
Early in the morning climb to kalapathar about 3 hours reach to the top with almost nearly touching to the Mt. Pumori and take a time for beautiful picture of Everest and Pumori. After picture trek down to Gorakshep take a breakfast and pack your luggage and start trek down to Lobuche. Overnight at guest house.

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Chhukung (4730m) 5hrs,
Trek all the way decent to Thukla and walk flat way to toward Dingbuche, wonderful viewing of Amadablam and Tahmserku. From Dingbuche gently ascent tot Chhukung village where spending the overnight at guest house.

Day 14: Trek from Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp (5150m) 3hrs
From chhukung trek start gently ascent vie some rocky trail and flat towards Island peak basecamp with beautiful view of Lotche Shar,Amadablam, Chhukung ri and island peak.

Day 15: climbing Preparation day at base camp
Today, full day preparation day for the climbing and explore around the base camp. You can visit Imja Lake or climb up to until high camp and back to base camp. Overnight at base camp in Tent.

Day 16: Climb to summit (6189m.) and return to Base Camp
Early in the morning climb proceed to peak and summit with beautiful vie over the Himalaya and amazing view of Makalu, Amadablam, Lotche, Thamserku, Cholatche and many other uncountable unnamed mountains. After beautiful picture ascent to base camp. Overnight at camp.

Day 17:  Ice land peak base camp to Tengbuche (3860m),6-7hrs
Trek descent to via Dingbuche,pangbuche and Dibuche reach to Tengbuche. Overnight t gust house.

Day 18: Trek from Tengbuche to Monju, 7hrs,
Trek descent to Phungi tenga and cross the river, after cross the river walk along the beautiful pine forest via Tashinga.

Day 19: Trek from Monju to Lukla (2840m.).
The trek start through crossing several times Dhud Koshi River over metal suspension bridge via Pakding,Ghat,Chhuplung and Churikhark,finally reat to Luklha. Overnight at Luklha Hotel.

Day 20: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1350m), transfer to the Hotel
Early in the morning flight back to Kathmandu over excellent view of mountain over Himalayan range.

Day 21: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, leisure day, last day cultural dinner,

Day 22: Departure to Airport for fly back to home,
