Langtang trekking is third most popular and nearest trekking area of central part of Kathmandu valley, where the trekking can be done within one week to two week durations time, the area offers a multitude of trekking destinations. Langtang region is a culturally from the Tibetan familiar and the narrow valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border as a sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang Lirung (7246m) dominates the valley to the north, Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Naya Kang (5846m) lies to the south and Dorje Lakpa (6966m) protect the east end of the valley.
