Dhaulagiri Round Trekking

Dhaulagiri trekking is the region ofWhite Mountain, separated from the Annapurna region though deepest George in the world the name of Kali Gandaki gorge, includes some of other fifteen peaks above 7000m to seen around this region. This region, considered to be one of the most remote places and adventures of the Himalayas of Nepal, has abundance of Himalayan peaks, hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping vistas. The Trans-Himalayan journey is quiet, peaceful and full of adventure and excitement during those trek. Trekking in Dhaulagiri around area is relatively strenuous but trekkers willing to spend their holidays amid nature and surrounding full of tranquility choose this "off the beaten track" trekking destination in the Himalaya.

The Dhaulagiri trekking can be starts from pokhara all the way by drive to reach at Drabangvillage through only by camping trip. The treks will end at Mustang region and either fly from directlyJomsom to Pokhara drive from Marfa village to back to Pokhara.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport,1365m,O/N,Hotel
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, we will pick you up with private vehicles and transfer to Hotel and after short refreshment brief about the programs, relaxing days, Overnight at Hotel,

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing, O/N, Hotel
After Breakfast full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley to Pasupatinath Temple (one of the biggest Hindus' temple)/ Boudhanath Stupa (one of the biggest Buddhist stupa)/Patan Durbar Square and Soyambhunath Stupa as call another name of Monkey Temple. Overnight at Hotel

Day 03: From Kathmandu fly or drive to pokhara, (840m)
After breakfast we will drive to paradise of Pokharraabout 6-7 hrs or by flight to take a 30 minutes to reach at pokhara. From Pokhara take a drive to Beni with the magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayas, in the evening walk around the Few Lake, Overnight at Hotel.

Day04: Drive from Pokhara to Darbang via Beni (1050m)
After breakfast we drive do Darbang via Beni and turn the left drive from Beni it's take about 6/7hrs to reach at Dhrabang via tatopani. Overnight at Camp,

Day 05: Trek from Darbang toDharapani (1565m)
Today, our trek start to Dhaulagiri around and the trail crosses the suspension bridge, continue flowing the river till next bridge and ascent to Dhrapani. Overnight at Dharapani camp.

Day 06:Trek from Dharapanito Muri (1850m)
The path goes steep up to Muri. From here you have the spectacular views of Mt Dhaulagiri and other mountains very closely. Overnight at Muri Camp.

Day 07: Trek from Muri to Boghara (2080m)

From Muri the trail is solidly goes little down and up further walk through the jungle and beautiful landscape. After that you'll have some steep ascent path to Boghara. Overnight at Bagora camp.

Day 08: Trek from Boghara to Dovan (2540m)
The trail descends down to a small ridge then crosses forest to Jyardan. Descend a long, steep, slippery stone staircase into a deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan. Overnight at Dovan camp.

Day 09:Trek from Dovan - Upper Vungini (Italian Base Camp) (3800m)
You will reach the Italian Base Camp where you will camp just in front of the West wall of the Dhaulagiri. You'll pass through beautiful forests trail and with the closer views of mountains panorama to Upper vungini which is the Italian Base camp.

Day 10: Trek from Italian Base Camp Acclimatization
Today is the acclimatization day for the further ascent and take time to excursion around the base camp. You will have little bit of hiking around or some sorts of exercises. Since, we are rapidly gaining altitude, keep yourself hydrated and take it easy. overnight at Base camp.

Day 11:Trek from Italian Base Camp - Glacier Camp
The trek start technically make use of ropes for the crossing of glaciers in some tricky places. This part is a bit a dangerous trail so be careful and have patience if there is ice or snow. Set your camp beyond the glacier walk along the ice and glacier, overnight at camp..

Day 12:Trek from Glacier Camp - Dhaulagiri Base Camp I
We will have climb to the rough and chilling part of this trek with the spectacular view of Dhaulagiri all the way. Enjoy the magnificent face of Dhaulagiri I on the trail. We reach the Dhaulagiri Base Camp at the height of 4650m or 15252ft. overnight at camp.

Day 13:Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp - French Col (5100m) - Hidden Valley
getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires a rope, but once over the steep moraine walls we are in safer and gentler country. After a breathless climb to the top of French Col (5300m,) the views of Hidden Valley open out. Overnight at camp.

Day 14: Hidden Valley camp excursion day and acclimatization (5000m)
you better to take a rest here for next high climb and quite adventures passes to admire the surrounding peaks and perhaps do some exploring in the hidden valley. A hidden snow valley gives you a heavenly test of white world. Overnight at the camp.

Day 15: Trek from Hidden Valley - Yak Kharka (4400m)
After climbing over the 5200m Dhampus Pass, we traverse avalanche prone slopes and then descend steeply to Yak Kharka. The Dhampus Pass between Tukuche peak and Thapa peak is another heaven in the trip. Overnight at the camp.

Day 16:Trek from Yak Kharka – Marpha (2665m)
From Yak Kharka we descend along the flank of the mountain to once again reach civilization. Marpha is the main inhabitants of the ethnic group of Thakalis favorite amongst the trekkers. It has kept its traditional narrow paved alleys and passageways and an extensive drainage system flows under the flagstone paved street.Overnight at the Hotel or camp.

Day 17:Trek from Marpha – to Jomsom(2720m)
The trek all the way flowing kali Gandaki River to Jomsom and it's take about 2 hrs trek and overnight at Hotel. Also there is another option to trek back to Tatopani for next two days trek and get an experience on natural hot spring and drive back to pokhara.

Day 18: From Jomsom by flight or drive to Pokhara,
If you have certain time you better fly fromJomsom to pokhara and same day can fly back to kahtmandu or spend the overnight at pokhara and next day fly back to Kathmandu. If you have enough time you continue trek to until net Tatopani (natural hot spring) which is one of the best do spend overnight at here.

Day 19: Fly back to Pokhara and same day fly back to Kathmandu
Leisure day at pokhara and in the afternoon fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel.
